Introduction
Join us for the echocardiography course in Adults with Congenital Heart Disease.
This comprehensive 3-day course includes basic to advance echocardiography imaging use and application in ACHD.
The course will cover lessons from basic echocardiography protocol in ACHD, simple congenital heart defects, to the most complex, such as transposition of the great arteries and Fontan circulation.
Furthermore, this year add on is also basic applications with step-by-step approach for advance imaging modalities including TEE, 3D, strain, acquisition of high frame rate imaging, and potential of machine learning.
We look forward to welcoming you to the 2nd ACHD Echo Academy 2022 online course
Overview of the course
This 3-day course combines echocardiographic clinical lectures on all aspects of adults with congenital heart disease focusing on morphology, haemodynamics, and clinical decision making for further management and need for (re)intervention
Additional value is introduction into basic principles of advanced echocardiography imaging modalities.
The 3-day course is suitable for anyone interested in echocardiography who wishes to further improve their knowledge and skills
Course starts in the afternoon (14.00 CET) on work-days, Thursday and Friday, while Saturday consists of morning session (from 9.00-13.00 CET) in order to give participants opportunity to incorporate it with everyday work and family activities
Day-1 (Thursday) focuses on ACHD echocardiography protocol and more common and simple congenital heart disease Day-2 (Friday) focuses on complex congenital heart disease Day-3 (Saturday) focuses on advanced imaging (TEE, 3D, strain) and their application in ACHD
Registered participants will have access to presentations after the course for the period of 6 months
